Our 1st Sleepwell Event introduced cognitive-behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBTi) and showed how Sleepwell’s tools and resources can support your use of CBTi. We invite you to watch the webinar recording on the home page.

We’re excited to invite you to join us for the 2nd Sleepwell webinar with an invited guest speaker, Dalhousie sleep specialist Dr. Malgorzata Rajda.

Join us on February 4, 2025 to learn:

  • about effective sleep-enhancing techniques that are better than sleeping pills
  • how to safely and effectively end dependence on sleeping pills

    Speaker: Dr. David Gardner

    Dr. David Gardner is a Professor with the Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University, Halifax and the co-developer of Sleepwell. Dr. Gardner will talk about effective sleep-enhancing techniques that are better than sleeping pills and how you can use Sleepwell’s tools and resources to safely and effectively end dependence on sleeping pills.

    Speaker: Dr. Malgorzata Rajda

    Dr. Malgorzata Rajda is a staff psychiatrist and an Associate Professor with the Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University, Halifax. Dr. Rajda completed her specialist training in psychiatry at Dalhousie University and a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Nova Scotia Health Authority Sleep Disorders Clinic. In her presentation, she will focus on orthosomnia, a condition where being excessively focused on sleep tracker data can increase anxiety and prevent you from having a good night’s sleep.
